When you get to the people that can make good simfiles, it all turns into opinion on who's the best.
As for Izzi's sim, lol. |

Calling Gamepro's stepfiles shit, and saying he's a judge one player certainly has everything to do with his post, right? EDIT: Quote:

How about I show you some proof. http://www.uweb.ucsb.edu/~ndunn/sos.wmv That video was taken Janurary 4th. A month ago, not now. Does that vid show that I'm a judge 1 noob? Or does it show that I play 4/4. I have always played J4, exept for a few times. |

AIM or MSN me for it. I guess it got taken down after a month.
EDIT: I also have another vid of me trying to AAA UGS, I AAA'd it before the vid but got 6 greats on the vid. 57 perfects though. Couldn't show judge that time though. And the UGS vid was taken a few days ago. Anyone can AIM or MSN me for them anytime. |

as for the sim, arrows are orange and red, not green. and considerably offsync.

EvilPeer, I agree with you on the stream thing to an extent. Stream simfiles are hard to work with to make a good simfile out of because there's more arrow density and less room for creativity with the patterns. You will often see lots of repetition a la quasar and revolutionary etude (despite how horrible and offbeat it is, I used almost every single pattern that exists in stream for 4 buttons)

Yes - some simfiles actually call for it.. and that's okay, but complete stream sims like One More Lovely and Quasar are extremely boring over 4 arrows. Now that I think on it Rev. Etude used quite a bit of patterns.. in sequences of over 2-4 bars I believe. I wanted to switch to making doubles simfiles just because of the extra room you get for patterns.. it would be a lot of fun to make a doubles simfile. There's other ways to make stream songs like Quasar fun.. insert 8th patterns between 16th streams and such - of course they have to be going to some part of the music otherwise it just seems like it's "there".

Yeah, I've always been dissapointed in the lack of room for creativity. Making steps to a game like O2 Jam would be a lot of fun.

It is, but you have a lot of pressure on you because you have to fit a standard for a serious video game. Considering O2Jam is in THREE World Cyber Games competitions (Singapore, Malaysia, Korea, maybe more), this is like the equivelant of making steps for DDR Ultramix. It's a pretty big thing. You also have to MAKE SURE that the patterns you're making go as close to the music as possible, which takes a lot of re listening and such.
