Any tips for Norfolk Gals and Pita?
I'm currently about ranked 143,036- I've been playing very heavily for about a week now. Under the advice of some of the other members, I changed my style from one-handed to spread, and it's been working really well. I play with the speed set to 1.5x.
I can now complete most very easy songs well, (that's with a difficult of ))) ), and some easy ( )))) ) though I don't fare as well with those. I've just noticed though that although Norfolk Gals and Pita are classified as very easy, they have an incredulous amount of arrows on screen and it's hard to keep track of them all. I didn't feel it was necessary to take screenshots of the harder parts- I think I can read it but it's still tough to tell which arrow is really at the top. I'm slowly improving at Norfolk Gals kind of by memorizing the whole thing, but I was wondering if maybe it would be easier with a different style, et. cetera. |

Lol you shouldnt be memorizing songs this easy.
Just dont play that, play hard songs that you can barely pass and try working your way up from there, because its easier to PA once you have combo'ing skills down. EDIT: OMG 1000'th POST : DDD

only advice i can give you is keep practicing. the only way to improve your finger speed and ability to read faster patterns/more notes on the screen is continue playing and just get used to it.

Playing harder songs don't always help with PA. With speed, yes. If you want better PA practice on songs easer or around the same difficulty to get more used to that difficulty.

Back in 2005 I had to mash a pass on delirium.
I would recommend going on stepmania for better songs. FFR songs are too long and usually aren't good for practice. |
