When I was chosen I was solid D3 material. That wasn't a mistake (unlike some), My best AAAs were 8s/9s.
I'm taking advantage of the skill I've earned over the past month of playing daily and increasing my 'skill'.

I know that people have been struggling more than me, and the effort they put into these songs deserve them a high spot.

when you get called bs for real, make a video that includes turning on the comp, showing the whole background processes, failing out a few times, and then AAA'ing stuff while showing monitor, keyboard, fingers, and keytaps at the same time

It's just fine for Mina to be an elitist. I actually think it's a good thing. They were probably treated the same way at some point, either like crap or whatever. Now that he's at the very top, he should make use of that bragging right. I hate modesty when they're like "oh noooo I couldn't do thaaaat"

But doesn't earning your skill give you every right to take the top spots though?

Don't get me wrong, what you're doing is nice

However, just because someone has to try harder than you to achieve yours scores does not mean you should just not submit after a round
