Re: FFR 6-key Prototype Files
These files are really awesome. However, I get the feeling that these files are not at all accurately rated in terms of the difficulty of actually playing them. For instance Battle Breaks [Easy] has a pretty WTF jack on the far left arrow (and it's a 4?!) and the 7s have some pretty heavy jumpstream and some other tricky patterns. I guess if they were FFR files they'd be high 8 or even 9. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like there's a tendency to just rate Solo files on how hard they are to read, as if you assume that Solo players will already be pretty good at 4-key playing and will thus have no problem actually hitting and PAing jacks or fast colorful trills/rolls. I think that if we are ever planning to include Solo in FFR we have to consider that some people are going to start out on Solo and have a lot more trouble hitting/PAing some easier files than reading them.

Re: FFR 6-key Prototype Files
unfortunately no. if it's lag that's bothering you, try turning down the quality.

Re: FFR 6-key Prototype Files
I agree with this, but I don't think it's so much an issue of the difficulty being wrong, as much as it shouldn't put in the game due to the easiness and then OMGOMWAFIJWF D=D=.

Re: FFR 6-key Prototype Files
Just asking, would it be too much work to add the 30 FPS version back up along with the 45 FPS version up for option too? Because 45 works great on XP, but 30 works good for Vista. I think it would help to have both up for option. How hard would that be though?

Re: FFR 6-key Prototype Files
As easy as having an option in the settings for that. I just have to change the fps and the game adjusts automatically, so making it an option is possible.

Re: FFR 6-key Prototype Files
This is absolutely amazing o.O
Although, implementing this into FFR will be nearly impossible unless the whole engine is rewritten in AS3 (LOL). Great work though dude. |

Re: FFR 6-key Prototype Files
What?
Amefuri Koneko used to be 8, then became 7, and is now a 6? For heaven's sake, this is NOT right! It's not even a low 8!
