This is probably a long shot, but Epileptic Crisis might be good for one of the higher divisions of the tourney (unless you think it sucks of course). It has a lot of fast jacky roll-bursts which should be tricky to PA, so it's different from most other hard songs on FFR, and might end up creating a surprise winner.

It could do something, idk, it's better than files like Legend and Wish For FFR, but those are old which means my file is probably not good...lol, I think it's alright, I think it would have had a better chance if I removed the chains (srsly, what was I thinking?)
no your file was pretty horrible and if it gets in because its hard i quit stepping for ffr

fix up the patterns and it isnt really much different than necropotence lol

ps a quick death would be a great way for D5 to end the tourney

I have made good files, but they were all on my old had computer, and that was the only file I had in time for this queue, I knew it sucked, but I sent it anyways, since some ****ty files get in anyways (Three Ring Nightfall anyone?)

Also, Whocares, want to play a good file of mine IMO?

I guess, but Necropotence is pretty mashable - you can basically full combo the entire thing by just hitting 8th notes. The patterns in EC are much faster and more spread out, so I think the file has a very different feel to it.

three ring nightfall is an awesome song. i don't even remember a thing about the file. but, i specifically asked people to step three ring nightfall because that stage in Sonic has such awesome music, and that's the only decent remix i know of it. then i accepted the best TRN that was submitted.

so stepping stuff that i want in the game is always a good way of getting borderline files in.

Instead of telling people that you sux at the old stuff, you can tell them that you sux at the new stuff ^^

New songs for the official FFR tournament? How is this not a new concept? Of course it will only work if the batch is done. Until then, dont count on it.

is FFR capable of handling negative stops/negative BPMs? or would i have to deal with it otherwise?

Theoretically the engine can handle negative stops and BPM, but if you do something like make a note that is later in the file (chart-wise) come before a note earlier in the file or overlap notes from different time-frames, it'll likely crash when trying to convert. I'd stick to stops if I were you, and even those won't show up on FFR's Cmods. Basically, no gimmicks on FFR files.

i did

i guess i'll be ripped to shreds because nobody wanted to test the file and there's a few things i'm unsure on (second half of first verse, chorus layering, the little section between the ending and the final chorus)

*edit*

as with the negative stops, every few measures there is a slight random shift or delay in the song that requires a -0.010 or -0.015 stop to fix it (nothing big, not a gimmick), though i could use bpm changes (which is harder than the stop). reading bdn's post- would this be safe? either way, should i stick to just a brief bpm change?

*double edit*

looks like this
