What's wrong with it? If a website is going to be used by kids they should censor it. Does censoring profanity really make a comment loose it's value? It it contains a lot of it it's probably not worth reading in the first place.

You guys can take off the censors anyways, so what does it matter?
How?:
Just go to "options" which is to the right of "Text Comments"
Even if you look in the picture you can see that I turned off the swear filter.
Problem solved.

This is bad because now people are going to start saying fcuk and sh1t on purpose, which is bad because YouTube comments are going to sound even dumber than before.

Sure, you can turn them off, but twelve year old children absolutely despise the idea that someone might not know that they were swearing so they'll misspell it anyways.
