TOP Players / Tier Requirements Thread - Updated 7/8/09 - Page 168

With these new requirements, Im not even going to bother. I was just at T2 and now I go all the way back to like mid T4. Not worth doing this all over again. Oh wait, I stopped playing anyways for awhile, so whats it matter. :P But even if i was still playing, not worth it this time.

why do people get all emo over stupid stuff like tier points

it's like you just want to quit ffr but really don't have a reason to other than you're bored ****less of it, so you try to blame it on everything that changes even though it doesn't really make a difference

even better why do they bother posting it

next thing you know waaaaa more fgo's this game is a waste of my time I quit bye

hmmm, I dont recall saying I quit FFR over tier points and im going emo over it. All I said was I dont wanna bother re getting back to where I was before since I dont want to waste the time and it would matter anyway since i ALREADY stopped playing FFR. I didnt stop because of tier point, I stopped for a s*** load of reasons. Im not one of those who cry when a hard song comes out, I really dont care since I actually like playing hard songs. So before you get pissy and assume I quit do to that, why dont you get up to date more on my real issue. Assumptions dont tell s***.

i think the TP's needs updated, i just wasn't expecting such a drastic drop in my points...

This is the reason I think the points should be kept around the same percentages. The Tier Point list was already made more difficult to get points on. Theres no reason to make the tiers harder to get on as well.

If you're going to majorly increase the difficulty on one part of the list, theres no point to increase the difficulty a lot on the other side.

Yeah, you could fix a LOT of that. You can at least get a full combo on everything (maybe without RATO?), you're more than capable.

Oh stop it already. You've been complaining about the list since it started. You really have to take into account that the tier point list is also a bit larger too. And, on top of that, all of the values in this list are at LEAST out of 6.

The value of each song's top requirement has gone up, and the amount of reqs that you can get has gone up too.

That's why the totals go up.

P.S. Sprite already mentioned that you have a ton of 0s/1s that you can fix anyway. Before you complain about the list being too hard, pull your own weight and at least make an attempt at getting the other reqs!

Well if you lost your skill then that's why you're not T4 anymore. Don't blame it on the new requirements.

So 420 is T4 now? Ok, I have it cleared more then what it would have been with Jimerax's. lol. Still sucks for me. =\ I have 5 0's, two which could be fixed, and im like mid T4. I need to get better at FMO's and FGO's. Hope this SM breaks helps.

I miss being just about at T2. lol.

Since when is voicing an opinion complaining? I'm simply stating that increasing both the difficulty of the songs on the list and the percentage of TP required for each tier makes the list difficult. I completely understand that the number of TP's went up and that you need to increase the Tier requ's proportionally. I just don't think the proportions shouldn't be changed so drastically. (T4 would be 46% of Full TP instead of the previous 40% [its a difference of 60 points]). The tiers are more of a power ranking for players. No need to get all attitudal.

Saying you're T4 isn't supposed to really make people go WOW, but it should give you an idea of where you are in relation to the community and the players around you.

Thats why it's better if more people are on the list.

PS: don't think I'm complaining about not being able to get into the tier list either. Because I already know i can on either system.
