That's what I find sad about Canadians...they're underpatriotic to the degree that no one gives a damn about commemorating anything. They just give a shrug of acknowledgement at best and move on with their day. Yes, in effect I'm criticizing myself, but I think it's really noticeable amongst people here.

I was planning on going today to the amusement park but it's going to rain, i hope it's better tomorrow so that i can go and then after go to the baloon fiesta park.i'll post pictures if i get a charger for my camera.

Last night I went to the cubs game against the Brewers. It was pretty much amazing. It's not every day you get to witness a grand slam.

Not around here. On Canada Day I went to the beach, and while we were driving there I saw TONS of houses decked out in Canadian flags. Once we got there, we actually had to leave because there were zero parking spaces left in the entire town. Tons of people had come out for the Canada Day parade. There were girls with flags in their hair, people with painted faces, and I felt a little out of place because I wasn't wearing any red.

When I got back into the city, we went to go see fireworks the city puts on. We got there over an hour early, and we couldn't find anywhere to sit.

Before this year, I had never really celebrated Canada Day, and because of that I thought all of Canada was unpatriotic, too. But after going out and actually participating in some of the celebrations, my opinion has completely changed.
