I've been playing StepMania seriously for approximately a week, this thread is continuing from the "SM n00b" thread I made a while ago. This is the list of screenshots I have in my screenshots folder. Some are better than others, some took a long time to get, some are sightreads, some are failed, I'm simply posting every score I've taken a picture of and decided to keep, so please comment. I would very much like to know which scores are good and which are okay, I'll probably know when a score is bad

Easy, yet difficult. Sightread.

Come on Digital Explosion D: you could've made a better song. Sightread.

Probably not a very good score.

Holy crap M1DY ****kore Dx

"Rottel-the-Mercury"
Sightread, if I'm not mistaken.

"Terror From Beyond"
I can AAA... I wish there was a harder file. I looove this song D:

Awesome song, I don't remember much about the file.

Best anime ever made, I just wish the song was up to par. Sped it up because it's long and the stepfile bores me most of the time.

"Aztec Templing"
The file could be better.

Probably my favorite song on SM. Love love love the jacks

Excite Bike took three or four tries lol, reality.wav was a sightread.

A lot of these scores are pretty nice, but some are really terrible compared to the others.

Instead of commenting on individual scores so I don't miss one I'll give you a couple areas to work on.

Definitely practice stream. All types. Jumpstream, handstream, and just plain stream. It looks like you have a fairly easy time with slow speeds, but when things start to get faster it seems as though you struggle.

Your jacks seem to be a bit of a strong point, so maybe try working on other jack files.

All around it looks like you've got some pretty solid skills. Just keep working at it because after you really start to get the hang of stepmania I bet you'll have a big skill jump.

Nice scores, for the most part. That looks like a pretty nice Trisection to me... I haven't played in a while though.
I think you can improve that Shine Bad and Excel, among others.

[Edit] Yup... not even close to that Trisection score. =d

Jumpstream is brutal in Stepmania, I'm definitely working on it, I'm just having a blast with jacks xD I need to get Reality stream status D:

Anything involving speed or jacking I can't touch, anything that is easy and most people could AAAA without much difficulty I could either match or slightly beat. Very good week FD.

Yeah, definitely work on jumpstream dude. I have your Pleasant Farmer, Shind Bad, Mokomokore by a fair amount...

As stated by others, that Trisection is really awesome. I can't touch it haha

Yeah, Trisection's the best one there, although Winnipeg might be pretty good too. I forget whether or not that file's hard to AA (might be thinking of a different file)

Keep playing and we might be able to become SM rivals

I can do better on Winnipeg, I'm only on my Amateur thread ;D this score was a recent AA attempt. It was an A, and once I decided to post I said, "Okay, time to clean it up fast." It just took one run, but I'm definitely going to play it a lot, I love the song

Winnipeg isn't bad, Trisection sticks out, that's seriously the best by miles. As everyone's said, improve your jumpstream and handstream, otherwise the rest isn't too bad.
