Default How can I get rid of my "in game character"?

You all know of it, the annoying character that shows up at the scoring evaluation of any file you play. How can I change it so that it's simply a question mark?

I've tried clearing my cache, logging out, but it still doesn't work. It only works if I play FFR on a completely brand new computer. Is there a secret way to get rid of it? Or am I just going to have to deal with it? (Not that it's a major issue, it just gets annoying sometimes)

I don't blame you, i hate the characters.
This is covered in the faq.
Just ctrl+f for "de-select my character".
