Dose one care of what another is saying to them. Or dose it go threw one ear and out the other...I believe it all depends on the heart of the receiver...
What I am getting at is. Not many people give a care for what you say unless they really care about you... For instance if your talking to your friend…who you obviously think is your best freind listens to what you say, but actually ignores the whole topic of what you are saying... A true friend would be one who would actually listen and look you in the eyes...at least that’s what I do...you don’t have to give eye contact...that was just a suggestion...an example...What I am getting at again is do you show your respect and love for your best friend? If you were my friend and I cared for you... would you give me the respect in return Answer these questions if you may. “Its up to you.” |

To answer the title of your topic: no.
With posts like that, a better question may be "With posts like this will I ever aquire friends?" - Your post lacks coherence. - Your post lacks any potential to stir conversation. - Your post lacks any real purpose. - This is your first post and no one knows who you are. lock / 10 |

What I was getting at was a form of depression and what I was thinking about, i have tuns of friends I just have sertin things on my mind...it was a yes or no question and or if you wanted to put a reply of any of the questions I had down it was up to you.
Now I dont care waht I lack.. you should still respect ones thoughts and feelings. By the way my name is Matt ![]() |

Matt... No. I doubt anyone here cares.
Plus, this is the CT forum. You will be flamed, ALOT, for inane posts/topics in this forum. Those that dare post here pride themselves on their ability to think and discuss on levels above the regular FFR user. If you find you are unable to stand up to those qualities, perhaps you shouldn't post here. Also, threads like this, as Alain said, are quite pointless. Please spell correctly, use proper grammar, and have intelligent, well thought out sentences when posting here. Thanks, and welcome to FFR, -Tass

Im sorry Matt, but I must agree with Tass and Alain, your post is heartfelt and emotional but not CT material. I don't want to flame you cause I understand that this is personal to you and means something so I'll just leave it at that.

A racist like you is less welcomed into the FFR community then Akure, navy. It would appear he at least has morals, if not forum experience. You have lost any respect already that you could have possibly earned here.

Look, all you people here are being VERY inconsiderate.
It's clear that Matt needs a bit of encouragement, not snide remarks about forum etiquette and grammar. This is the wrong forum for it, of course, but he's human like everyone else here. Navy, he called you a racist because you said that teenagers are more likely to beat you up for money if they're black. |

Alain, why are you bringing in something from another topic? You've reminded me about making my thread about why close-mindedness is okay. Matt certainly could have made his post better, sure, but jeez, it wasn't flameworthy.
And navy, your posts just weren't necessary. This thread was made crappy by all the responses, not the original post. --Guido http://andy.mikee385.com |

That's definitley not what I said. But if it was interperated that way then I will say I'm sorry. The way people took it is more important then what I actually said so agian, I'm sorry. I was just trying to make a funny comment that I thought people would be able to relate to but I guess not. Everyone seems to be "touchy- feely" on this..lol.

You seem to misunderstand, but in CT we do not expect low humour, so it would be preferable that you moved it to chat or garbage bin to avoid the missunderstanding.
Also, Akure, I missunderstood your intentions with this post and I'm sorry. To answer your question, yes, I would respect any friend of mine, and you should know there are many nice people in the world for each inconsiderate one. |

LIGHTEN UP!! You make it sound as if this forum is full of a bunch of superhumans that are above laughs and giggles. Everyone here is just the same as everyone else. Nobody is above anything. The whole concept of a chat room called critical thinking on a website that has a game where you push arrows is humorus in the first place. Especially if you think any material ever introducted in the history of this forum is "higher level" anyway.

Matt, I apologize for your thread being crapped up.
All I can say is, if you, or someone you know doesnt feel like their friends listen to them, then bring it up. If they are true friends, then they will most likely apologize for their behavior. If they dont, or they continue to ignore you, then perhaps you should make new friends. That is really all that can be said. Again, I am sorry your thread got crapped up. |
