Chicago native here, hoping the blackhawks go all the way. The Red Wings are one hell of a team though, I will not deny that, even from a Chicago perspective. I'm just hoping our young team can beat you guys.

I hope it's a good match though.

EDIT: SHUT UP TERRY x]

I'm gonna go with the underdogs and pick the Cardiac Canes. Now if only those bloody Hawks hadn't knocked out my team, I'd vote different X_X. RIP Canucks season 2008-09.

I'm rooting for the Canes because a)they knocked out my Devils so I want them to go far, making the Devils look better and b) so I don't get lynched by all the hockey fans around here who come out of the woodwork whenever the Canes do well.

Wow no one is saying the team that I want to win lol. I'm rooting for the Pittsburgh Penguins. Out of all the teams, they are the most underrated. And they have a very good team. Do not be surprised to see them win the cup like the steelers won the super bowl

I WANT the Canes to win as they're my team. However, the Red Wings are the best team in the NHL and they will be for the next 20 years and beyond.

I dislike Chicago, and would like to see the finals be a matchup of Pittsburgh and Detroit again, except Pittsburgh would win this time around.

I hope it goes to game 7 with the Hawks. Simply because I have game 7 tickets for row 10 behind the goal. I'm a little torn on who to root for other than that. I'd love for Chicago to win for the previously stated ticket reason and because it would be great for the city. Then, at the same time, I've been a Wings fan for over 10 years now. Yes, Wings fan in Chicago is a little rough. Either way, I can't be disappointed with the Finals.

That being said, I was at the game when the Hawks clinched over Vancouver a little while ago. Easily the best hockey game I had been to ever, despite the semi terrible hockey that was being played.

I personally am a Blackhawks fan (born and raised in Chicago). Even though they are a great team, I just don't think they have it in them to take down the Red Wings. Also, for the Eastern Conference, the Penguins have some great players like Malkin and Crosby (even though I don't like Crosby all that much) so I think they will beat the Canes.

Overall, I see the finals being played by the Wings and the Penguins, and I think the Wings will take it.

Red Wings vs. Penguins again. I don't think the Penguins have a chance but you never know.

I'm betting Wings in 6. I know Pittsburgh's dominant but Detroit can beat young teams as we saw versus Chicago, and they know how to win, and especially against Crosby and Malkin's crew. This will be an exciting series, but I'm not expecting any blow-outs.
