Re: keyboard issue...?
Is your keyboard really old? And what is your key layout for the arrows? They may be on the same panel in the keyboard and each panel may only recognize one input at a time. Try spreading them a bit further?

Re: keyboard issue...?
Unless it's a very old or defective keyboard it should be able to accept any combination of two keys at once. Are you holding down a third key at the extact moment you try to hit the jump, perhaps? If you're mashing hard it's possible to be trying to hold down three or more keys at certain points which, for certain configurations, will prevent new keytaps from registering.

Re: keyboard issue...?
It may also just be certain keys it won't let you use at the same time. I tested and confirmed this myself when I went to change my keys to as;' , it didn't work. Opened up notepad and sure enough, when hitting all 4 at once they not all worked. Changed them to AS12, and all 4 work in notepad ( meaning it will work in game ).
Hope this helps.

Re: keyboard issue...?
Two keys? Wow..never heard of that before. Maybe try using your numpad for 2 of them then assign the other 2 to something else where the letters are?

Re: keyboard issue...?
Buy a new one; the better your keyboard the more fun you'll have with rhythm games.

Do you have a vista computer. None of my keyboards (and I've tried like... 8 already) seem to work properly on FFR. I don't know if it's just me, or a problem for everyone.

Re: keyboard issue...?
well teh arrow keys on the num pad work just fine for me but it feels awkward.
it works fine on my gfs laptop though she went to give me a keyboard, tried it, then realized it said compatible with windows 95" on it lol that logitech one is nice, but....70 bucks..?! thats a litle ridiculous for a keyboard. ill find something also, im not on a vista computer, so it might be a issue with vista? |
