Default More Planet Art

So I guess I'll go with DS and get this forum stirring again...maybe

We might just have to wait till the summer but whatever

Made this from scratch using tablet and a couple plug-ins, not too much detail in the nebula, I should really touch that up

Been listening to Kid Cudi lately, he's pretty sick, completely irrelevant

edit:

figured I'd throw this in here too, cool text effect right? right?

Nothing wrong with them they're just, generic. I don't have any idea how you could fix them though.

LOL

yeah, he's pretty much as lyrically gifted as KanYe, but has the downbeat smooth rhythms that Schwayze has, it's a nice mix

I really like this. This is the kind of stuff I wish I owned the rights to. I would absolutely LOVE to have a physical edition of this for my wall.

makdaddy, your painting screams "computer graphics." Give it more graininess and asymmetry.

But the fact that it was done in Photoshop and not a 3d program takes a bit more skill, it may look really digital, but it's got a vibrant charm to it that makes it stand out, which is why it doesn't need to be realistic.

That's absolutely RIDiculous DS!

How big is it?

You said "my planets aren't as vibrant" but it pretty hard to pull of an inner shadow, etc with spray paint.

To lord carbo: what DS said, I'm not trying to be super realistic, I like the feel/vibe of Computer Graphics. I kind of get turned off when I see altered photographs deemed "Computer Graphics", or a painting painted in Photoshop called "Computer Graphics", etc.

It's my style, I do what I want.

I really like it renevatia, the only thing I would add is more atmospheric (pun?) surroundings, like stars/etc.

btw, funmonkey, you could try to buy DS's spray paint picture

@ mak: It's 14x14, and yeah its near impossible to paint an inner shadow.

@ Rene: Very nice, I have no idea how to do any of this planet-like stuff in photoshop

Edit* @ Funmonkey: 5 bucks. xD
