To answer your problem, Guru songs are for people who FC FMO's with little or no boo count. The way you get to do that is by learning all the little patterns those arrows can make, and learn how to do them AT ALL SPEED LEVELS. If you can do it faster than God himself, it doesn't mean **** if you can't accurately do the same thing at 100 BPM. People who get into this game have this mindset that it's all about SPEED... it's all about CONTROL damn it. Once you can control the pace of your fingers in accordance with the pace of the song, that's when the pace increases. Control yourself, then increase the speed at which you're able to still control it. Then you won't get boos up the ass, and on another note, go ahead and play stuff above your level every once in a while, you can't get better if you only play what you're good at, but you already seem to have acquired this train of thought. Good luck.

since surviving a song merely requires you mash faster than, not at exactly the same pace, as the arrows and is ridiculously lenient (stepmania hurts about 10 times as much as it heals but ffr hurts and heals equally) it's not a show of skill to be able to pass a 12 or 13. FCs with low boo count, high accuracy or AAAs however are

i know i might sound stupid to a lot of people, but never try for a max combo, focus everything you have onto PA.

If you know that you can PA a song a score with lower then 50 goods, there's no need to even think about getting an FC, it just comes along with the PA

Pretty much the idea that I give to every other player who asks for help. At least someone else uses these ideas. =)

This concept is very nicely built for a StepMania player, but...FFR is all about combo. I do agree that you should practice the general pattern of a song to figure out the patterns so that they flow naturally to you (i.e. muscle memory). But combo does need to be factored into songs as well, especially if you are trying to bring your skill level up.

Those aren't jumpstream though. Jumpstream is a stream intermixed with jumps.

Btw why are you getting goods on easy arrows in beginning of Silence? You should focus on simple issues like those.
