I think maybe talking to a gay person and better understanding might help more. Everyone not talking just seems like forced isolationism to me. Which is the problem in the first place.

Why does everyone have to be so negative all the time? Yes, a day of silence isn't going to magically change the world overnight, but that's not the point. The point is that someone has to start somewhere.

What's wrong with showing your support online as well as in real life?

This post failed almost as much as most people claim this thread did.

I did not realize that ending gay discrimination would:
A.) Make you gay.
B.) Make you forget what ending discrimination actually means.

This is like saying ending discrimination against blacks would make me black..

Don't get me wrong, I'm not ignoring what people are saying, it's just that some people really sound like idiots and I had to vent in my point. Thanks for the support to everyone who's standing up for the rights with me. In fact, Quigly and a few others, I'm 100% straight. I gotta girlfriend who I love very much. I can still support a movement. Around 700 kids at my school did this yesterday.

I'm waiting for my medicine atm, but when I'm done I'll post the passage our badges state.

Well, isn't it just as easy to do this on any other day other than the DoS?

I mean, you have opportunities aplenty to do this in your everyday life.

Anyway, I don't have much of a story. I hung out with friends, did a track meet, went to the Gwinnett Braves' first-ever home game, and slept. Not much to write home about, but no glbt conversations ever came up in my midst. So I think it was pretty easy-going and simple to keep my vow.
