Also, did some in-use pictures for you, Dean. If it needs to be listed, my laptop runs at 1280x800 (but Photobucket resizes everything you upload to it down to 1024x768 or something like that).

I use gimp. Photoshop isn't necessary.

edit: Well, it looks like I've got some things to add, also if any themes are submitted to mozilla labs, if you let me know when they're approved and available, I'll just link to the persona page on mozilla labs so it would be easier for us to apply the theme and it would help gain the theme popularity.

Why is it that both the hedder and footer get cut off on my screen? It always ends up cutting off the first and last 1/4 and the footer just screws up entirely.

What you can view depends on how wide your screen (or how big of resolution) is and how much toolbars and addons you have that increase the height of the header and footer.

The default height of the footer without anything else is 22px, so you need to keep that in mind when designing the footer.

For the header, if Firefox has about 3 rows down showing (like the menu, the navigation bar, and bookmarks bar) that's about 87px (depends on the operating system) down and if you have tabs open with the other 3 roows it's about 112px down (still depends on operating system, so it would be good to use the psd file mozilla labs provides to find out how far things are spaced.

edit: Also and most importantly, headers start being viewed from the top right of the image, and footers start being viewed at the bottom left of the image.

edit again: The images aren't suppose to shrink to fit the browser if you thought that's what it's suppose to do.

I'm not sure if you want me to still put them up the way they are or not. Let me know if you do
