Re: What in the world is this?
I think it's another one of those subscriber-only features.

Re: What in the world is this?
What's that?!
I can barely afford to keep myself full, let alone spend at least $5/month on a subscription just to fix a GLITCH? What's that?! You're an idiot?!?!? OH that explains everything. Not everybody is within their capacity to subscribe or donate to a website, man. I've been subscribed before (other people bought me subscriptions) and honestly, I didn't really use it much... I thought I would... but I didn't even notice the lack of ads, and I didn't use any of the other features except the custom title. And who cares about that really. It's not worth it for me. I'd rather buy a sack of potatoes each month and keep EATING.

" You think those of us that subscribe do it for the special features? No! We do it to support a site that couldn't stay afloat without us. Of course the custom title isn't worth $5, but knowing that the game will be up and running next month is. Anyways: Here's me beef. I used to have those problems all of the time. ALL OF THE TIME. And i would get redirected and hear things, and get pissed. Then organism convinced me to subscribe, and bam, the problem is gone. How do you think synth makes any money off of this? Its certainly not from my $4 a month. Its from the ads. I pay my service to FFR in cash, you pay yours in ads. Get it? Got it? Good Last edited by gafandriel; 03-15-2009 at 01:09 PM.. |

the only reason the cost to maintain the site is so high is because of the giant flux of people who aren't worth keeping around (see: profiles) or i just use adblock rofl owned

We just explained it's a GLITCH. A GLITCH. Am I supposed to be subjected to glitches because I can't subscribe? Even if I am... who says the glitch doesn't happen for subscribers either? Besides that, I don't mind paying in ads. I never even notice them. Ads aren't the issue. It feels ridiculous to me that you are trying to explain why there should be ads on this site, to me. I feel like the last person on earth who finds it morally objectionable to use an ablocker.

Re: What in the world is this?

..But really, so far as anyone is concerned, it's a glitch of unknown origins, which may or may not appear for subscribers as well. Telling someone to "quit bitching and subscribe" is completely uncalled for as A. No one's bitching. The OP was just a little irritated at hearing music overlap with other sound for no reason. B. It's most likely not an ad (I can't imagine the site generating revenue by having Emotions play at inopportune times.) and C. Synth said that he wouldn't want obnoxious ads on the site in the first place, so even if it were an ad, he would want to know about this. Unfortunately, no one seems to know how or why it plays yet, so it might be a while before it's fixed.

And so what if the site ran fine years ago without the ads? I think that synth should make whatever he can off of this site. He is the reason this game is around. If you get redirected, then hit the back button a few times/ restart the browser. It's not too tough! I stand firm in what I think. I pay my dues to FFR in cash, you pay it in Ad's. That's the way of the world. |

Jesus, guys, calm down. This isn't something worth screaming about.
How do you buy a subby for someone else?
