Sorry Syhto, JKPolk is right on this one.

Too much use of a gradient and the logo becomes less and less effective. It may not be the law, but I'd like to see you find some good big-name logos that use gradient shading all over the place.

When it comes to logo design, less is more.

K wait, I like the idea of not having a background, just the logo.

Just be creative, it's called, Phair's Powersports (I know it sucks, it's my last name and powersports :P.

Oooh. That's neat. If "Powersports" was a shorter word you could totally have "Phair's" reading right to left with "Powersports" reading left to right to really emphasize the qp idea.

I was using Photoshop at school and I just did something similar. Phair'sqpPowersports
