![]() Its not really worth a large forum debate, but I think this
shooter is one that stands out among the crowd. ![]() Though I've never been a Shooter genre type of gamer, (in fact, this game, next to Xevious and Star Fox 64, is my first shooter) Triggerheart Exelica has become a fave of mine. I bought it offa Xbox 360 Game Marketplace for 800 points some days ago. My first impression? It was the best shooter ever; sexy, robotized anime chicks, enemies by the buttload, and explosions everywhere...wahahaa! So perfect! Well, it was until I wanted to do some achievements. To get those, I had to play the game right. Then came figuring out how to use the anchor correctly, shooting the right targets, and trying to stay alive without losing a single life through the 5 levels of the game. Now THAT was hell! I couldn't stay alive past the first level without exploding! Since my score reverts to 0 everytime I lose a continue, I was literally getting nowhere! I mean, look at this: ![]() This is what we'd like to call: MISSION-FRIGGIN IMPOSSIBLE!! And this one is worse! ![]() I can't build up the nerves to dodge all that ammo! Its madness! All of those shots, and only a tiny corner space to wriggle out from. I ask you, the people, who the f@$% has the nerves to dodge all of that and hold it all together for the win?! Is there a strategy to it? Is there ANY way at all to win this game? Cause I think its plain suicide to go in there shooting bullets and an anchor! The only thing in use of heavy weaponry are the bombs, and those are in limited supply. With all those huge clankers blasting gigatons of ammo at me, shouldn't I get a frggin NUKE or something? C'mon, throw me a bone! Obviously, when I got this game I was way in over my head. But I'm not gonna quit....I'll self-destruct a thousand and one times before I'll give up on this! So my question (plea) to you people is this: IS THERE ANY STRATEGY TO STAYING ALIVE IN THIS GAME?! (anything would help me...give it your all, and please no newb jokes. I know I suck, u know I suck, but can't we all be friends and help each other from being blown ta bits by a huge battleship from the year 200X? Please?)

![]() I played Touhou for a little while and all I know is you basically have to memorize patterns and how to evade them, easier than it sounds...there are MUCH harder bosses than that.

![]() Its bullet hell, you get used to it after a while.
just memorize where the hitbox is, and then get a good idea of the patterns. |

![]() Ok, that sounds good.
I'll try to dodge with a style of my own now. But I'm still uncertain....got anything else?

![]() The anchors you use deflect bullets and deal massive damage to the boss. Most bosses have anchor parts that come down that you can grab for defense until their later forms. The final boss is near impossible without hurling anchors like mad.
