Re: Numi's First Tournament
ROUND ONE STARTS NOW!
I'm tired and want to go to bed, so I'll post the score for you all to get now so you have it by midnight. If anyone still wants to join, you may, but it MUST BE BY MIDNIGHT EST. Go to the first post and look at the score. *evil laughter* You made it in by about 31 minutes. I'll add you to the roster and update the prizes. Thanks for the donation =)

Re: Numi's First Tournament
Okay. Fine. Those of you who signed up tofay, I'll give you a break. Especially since some of you didn't know what your time was in relevance to EST. So HK_KrAz3, and Heaton1402, I'll allow you two. Anyone else, sorry, you're too late.

Do we have to pass, or can we fail out/use autofail?

Re: Numi's First Tournament
ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have decided how the rounds and eliminations will work. We have exactly 55 members in this tournament. There will be 15 eliminations the first round. 40 will remain. 10 eliminations the second round. 30 will be left. 8 the third round, 7 the fourth round, 7 the fifth round, 5 the eighth round. There will then be the top 3 left. It will be the final round between the 3 of the competitors. There will be a total of 7 rounds. *If the majority of people dislike the number of rounds or eliminations, I may change it. Please post an opinion.* I really don't care what you do as long as you get close to the goal score I post. Later in the tourney though, I may force you to use other mods, such as 3x speed or the one where the arrows spin (I think its called Dizzy)

Re: Numi's First Tournament
Having eliminations dip from 8 to 5, then back to 7 is a bit strange. Usually the number of eliminations go down as there are fewer people left in.
Something like 55-40-30-22-15-8-3-1, perhaps. I just shifted the 5 eliminations to the end. Also, you said 9 rounds, but you only gave eliminations for 7 rounds. One suggestion: if you sorted everyone by how far they were away from the target score and put in an elimination line, it would help. That way, people would know what they had to do to stay in. |
