lol my mom bought one of these like a week ago -_-
She said it was cute...of course, anything small = cute, and will sell. Though I'm pretty sure it's not sony, think it's around the same size though, I'll check in a few hours when I'm not lazy to go downstairs. |

I have a tendency of losing things when they are that small. No thanks.

K, just checked, my mom has this 8.9 inches.
http://gizmodo.com/357994/hp-compaq-2133-umpc-laptop I didn't bother to look at the specs, but considering it's a ton cheaper, I'm assuming the laptop in the first post has way better parts. Last edited by [TeRa]; 01-25-2009 at 12:01 PM.. |

To anyone who thinks this is useless: go to college. Taking notes on a computer is very nice, but when you're like me and have a desktop replacement laptop, doing this is nearly impossible. A little thing like that just to have a computer on the go would be great. If I had $1100 and I didn't want a desktop so badly, I'd get one.

LMAO.
Yeah, they might be cool for traveling and whatnot, but for everyday use? I would go crazy trying to type on one of them probably. D:< |

Credit crunch. Gotta make cut backs on finite resources.

As if laptops aren't already portable enough.

Can't really count as a laptop, I could hold my hand out flat, put the laptop on it, and type away. Seems more like big a smartphone without phone capabilities...
I've seen tons of these things showing up in the laptop section over at bestbuy. Terrible though. 5.5 in. screen, 1-2gb hard drive, 256-512mb RAM, $300-400. I'm not a huge fan of those.

I don't think there is any solid definition for a laptop. I would consider it a laptop if it is small, runs on a battery, and can run windows or other major operating system that isn't dumbed down.

Haha, it fits like 3 icons on the desktop. I guess it would be handy if you were just using it for communication and basic word processing, but that's not me.
