Anyways. I stay(and stayed) here because these forums(and chat) are unlike other ones. They're actually pretty small. The amount of regular people that go here all know eachother, and there aren't new posts every 1/3 of a second (see:newgrounds). I find FFR a pretty trustworthy place, too. You may joke about people being "omg pedophile" (see:banditcom) but we all know they(or he) arent/isn't. (lol) Plus, it's kind of my duty to stay in chat, although I haven't been in for the past 4 days cause i've been really, really sick. Anyways, it's pretty fun here, and you get to meet a lot of new people. Like that kid up there ^ bcuz i <3 u guyz

I first joined because well, my brother was working for this site. I used to joke with him about how patheitc "FFR" was and that I would never join it and I thought it was the stupidest thing in the world. I remember when he started playing FFR and I was like "HAHAHHAHA THAT'S SO STUPID". Then SM came around and I was like "Wow...that's so lame". He showed me R2 and got me to test it and I was like "Wow, this thing is so idiotic, all I do is press arrows". Well, one day I asked him to help me join because I couldn't figure out how (i no pathetic, rite? :<), so he signed me up. I started posting here and liked it. Then one day I started talking to LD, and he figured out I was soccr's sister, and we started talking and talking. I stuck around and made some friends such as LD, Moogy, Hayden, Eclipse, blah, etc. I think I am on the computer way to much, but it is way too addicting to quit. It's like FFR is so much of a part of my life that I can't give it up :/ as much as I try to think about cutting down or to stop going here.

it's amazing how much you sound like me HansSky. That's exactly how it is with me. I'm in high school, and I can't wait to get to college becuase I hear it's way different. I hate real life. And this is my only escape besides sleeping. Everyday I can't wait to get home just so I can get on the computer for the rest of the night. And the weird thing is, I'm fine with it.

I'm leaving sooner or later, when I go to UC Berkeley (AKA one of the tightest colleges next to Harvard) But, eh, I'm still here because high school is very easy for me, and beside having a social life, this is where I go to waste time. Yeah, I'm that bored.

I have 2 separate lives: a "real life" one and an "internet" one.

In my real life one, I go to classes, eat dinner with my friends, play table tennis, go out to parties, drink, hang out, watch movies, play games, etc. I have a lot of friends and I do a variety of activities.

On the internet, I also have a group of friends that I talk to on a daily basis. A few of my best friends are online ones. I enjoy chatting with them. I have a good mix of "internet" and "real life" friends, and my time is pretty well distributed. I'd say about 65% real life and 35% internet (when I'm at college). Otherwise it's like 10-20% real life because no one lives around me, and I generally have to talk to them online.

As for FFR, I enjoy coming here and seeing how people do on Stepmania. I like the competition. I like comparing myself to how others are doing. Yea, many of the people that I used to get better scores than are now quite a bit better than me. But, I don't care. I hardly play. XD I also enjoy going to the chat sometimes to goof around or to play SM on cam (well, when I'm at home where the chat actually works).

I use to come here for the game only because thats when i was just getting into stepmania and all of that. Then i found the chat, and that is the main reason i am still here. It is the reason why i probably wont leave for a long time. The people i met on here are also better than most of my offline friends.

I first came here 3 years ago to play it at school but never signed up, I just played FFR to waste time during my free. I mostly posted on DDRFreak and GameFAQs but then I saw in the DWI/SM accomplishments threads Nima and Reach would always post links to their FFR topics. I never even knew there was a forum here >_>. So I checked it out and turns out it's better than DDRFreak, and thanks to suggestions from other members I have gotten 10X better than I was at SM before.
