repetitive songs are easy to step because of their very nature
once you know what comes up once you know what's coming up every other time, so you can step ahead without repeatedly checking the music to make sure you're on track

Thanks. Without any BPM changes or tricky 12th / 24th / etc notes, it usually takes about an hour and a half to write a file like that. This is chiefly a stream file with some 8th jump sections, so it's easy to learn what a whole batch of measures is doing and step them without even bothering to listen to the music until afterwards (just to make sure any sounds here or there weren't missed).
EDIT: Well darn, Patashu and I said the exact same thing at the exact same time. |

I take it you liked the first file then.
I won't promise anything until I hear it, but feel free to send it my way. EDIT: Didn't see your first post, thanks for the compliment. Last edited by Zybanthia; 01-1-2009 at 02:30 PM.. |

When I play it a Venetian Snares picture comes up.
I find the double kick wayyyyy to loud, drowns out other stuff. VERY good song though. Looking forward to seeing what other music you make in the future |
