Fractal Wallpaper

I made a fractal that is free for wallpaper use, you can resize it to what size you like but it's 4:3 aspect ratio.

I won't link the full image image directly full size to prevent page-stretching.
So here is smaller preview image:

Did you make it in Photoshop?
And how long did it take?

@ sarahxjane: I made it with Apophysis, freeware fractal creation program that is hosted by sourceforge nowadays (edited colors in Photoshop a bit). My work took like ½-1hour, rendering took 18hours 17minutes.

Heck it's "so easy to make" I could easily teach someone to make it if they wanted, I just experiment in editor and get something that pleases my eye eventually.

Yeah well, maybe you are blind or have bad memory *tease* but yeah I'm watching and lurking and answering your random polls.

So you say that you can teach someone how to do this? GREAT! I have apophysis but it's just for fun. I move crap around and mess with the numbers and colors until I make a really cool one that I like... But, I don't actually know how I make them...

HELP!

P.S. I printed off the 'algorithm' page that the program comes with but it made my brain short circuit...

@ Meatyguy: Well in case you want to learn the program to some extent I can guide you on MSN @ blood_bowler@hotmail.com others are free to add me too, if you have slow computer however I don't encourage it, might be tedious to get anywhere with slow computer and apophysis, but you can always try it.

yeah, making a fractal is real easy, but it's rendering that sucks and stuff of the sorts

Yeah creating fractals isn't hard at all but you need to know few basic things and still have some imagination and so forth, I mostly use editor and start with a blank flame in my fractals. I should get ultra fractal prog and play around with that
