Squeezing is simply waiting 'til the last possible millisecond to use starpower and hit the note, right before missing the note. This will give you a tiny bit of extra star power to get those 7 points.

I obviously know how to squeeze if I can get 287k on When you were young lol......

And 7 ticks = 28 points since each tick under 4x multiplier is worth 4 points. I am just short those few points because I let go too early.
