Default YAY! I'm a simfile author!

After extensive "keep everything to myself" type simfile work, I have finally begun posting some of my songs online. This is what I've posted so far:

http://bemanistyle.com/sims/simfile.php?id=5371

http://bemanistyle.com/sims/simfile.php?id=5429

http://bemanistyle.com/sims/simfile.php?id=5497

If there are any nice people out there, please comment on my work and let me know how I'm doing, even if they're negative comments. I am still relatively new to this, so I would appreciate hearing from all of you how I can improve. Just remember the magic words: constructive criticism. OK, I'm done. Enjoy.

Default RE: YAY! I

You like Pokemon, eh?

Ok, I have a few things to say, but I must also say that I am basing my opinions on the Johto song and "Vacation". First of all, you should definitely make multiple difficulties. Secondly, you definitely have potential. You're sync and BPM was good for both; definitely above average for a stepfile artist newb. There are a few things I would've done differently (some of the BPM changes in Vacation seemed a little awkward, but most seemed good). Your patterns were pretty good, too, except one part in Johto. There's a part with three keys being pushed at once. Some people's keyboards don't support that many key presses, and others play with only two fingers. I would recommend staying away from those three at once types unless you feel it's ABSOLUTELY necessary for that part of the song. That said, you should definitely continue to release sims. You should get someone else to make the graphics, though; those graphics sucked really bad.

PS I'm glad you step'd Vacation. I love this song.

Yeah, sorry about the pics. I'm totally helpless when it comes to graphics...I usually just rip whatever I can off of Google Image Search (and my computer doesn't seem to want to reload images when I try to resize them). Thanks for your comments, though. I will take your advice into account.

Alright, I'm just gonna throw some constructive critisism at u. First of all, yes, u do have some potential for making Sims. Second, work on the graphics man. They were bad quality, and the wrong size. I go off google too, but I manage to use photoshop and add in some cool stuff. Alright, as far the sims go, pretty nice, but the BPM changes were pretty funky. I avoided using my CMods, to check, and yeah, it was pretty hard to keep up with it. So work on that, but u did keep it synced very well, and got the right BPM, so that's something to be proud of. Keep up the good work. I look forward to seeing how u get better and better over time since u just started.
