screenshift problem much?

Just like when you click offscreen for FFR, jumpety jump screen all over the place, can't keep up with the arrows! I would like it more if there wasn't said problem and there were more than 5 songs. I realize this is just a developing stage, I'll try again in a month or two.

it's a common IE issue, actually. when maldon was coding our widget for Facebook use, we ran across this exact issue in IE. *shrugs*. the dumb part is they didn't fix it before releasing it.

that and it seems to be running at 15fps, which is choppy as hell. and makes it so there is no way to do timing beyond perfs, even if they wanted to. i'm also curious as to whether there is a 2 frame perfect window or 1? either way, the window is different than FFRs, which would be the same as 1.5.

Wow...I just read the Konami forums. That was quite possibly the most appalling lack of restraint and civility I've ever seen. We do not want to make this sort of impression on the members of the Konami community, regardless of how we may feel about their web game.

ehh, it's nice in the sense that it's a bit more SM like, but whoever made the charts I think didn't remember to make charts for your hands instead of your feet.

Hey Doctor told me to post this uh
"Wow you guys I was joking rofl. I never made a post there. I signed up to play the game, legit."
Seriously though, I was talking with him. He said it in complete jest and never thought someone would be idiotic enough to actually do that.

I made 1 POST over there explaining how FFR is better and how they could improve their game (in a good way, no "u sux FFR is 1337"), and the next thing I knew, it was posted on page 7 on their thread by someone here who spammed post "FFR is better" or something like that.

Good job. You deserve that ban greatly.

I checked it out, and I feel so embarrassed to even have created a profile. That was definitely a waste of my time. xD I'll play the game...... eventually. But I am currently dying from the inside. I'll be back once I stop laughing.

I doubt KgZ played a significant role in instigating them into doing it. Still, I found KgZ's efforts to be quite amusing.

yeah same.

I'm sure the guy who spammed deeply regrets what he did and wasn't thinking clearly about the consequences beforehand, it can happen to anybody who is in "mob mentality". I hope you guys don't give him too much crap about this.

Why does everyone love Stepmania so much? You have to download songs, nothing is consistent, you have to manually download updates, you to go through intro screens, it's not online, most of the stepfiles people make suck...I don't understand why everyone bows down to it, it's a little more accurate...so what?

Buy Supernova. Know that all the songs on there are the only songs you get AND THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT.
Buy Supernova 2. Yay there's some fixes that took several months. Know that all the songs on there are the only songs you get AND THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT.

ballaw hare, get ready for the ride of your life. You just made a terrible mistake.

I'll be the first one to correct your misguided ways of thinking about Stepmania.

First of all, yes you download songs - more importantly, songpacks. And yeah, a lot of them suck so you're probably looking in the wrong place because there are a lot of epic ones too. How is nothing consistent? Manually downloading updates isn't a bad thing. Is that how lazy you really are? It's but a simple process that shouldn't take long if you have a good-working computer and fast internet. Turning the intro screens off is - Oh my god - SO easy!

And apparently you have never heard of Stepmania Online.

And "a little bit" accurate? More like... billions of times more accurate than anything else, even DDR, in my opinion.
