Photoshop Part 1

So yeah... i posted a while ago Blackyoshi transformed into a zombie... i currently study in Computer graphics and im messing around with photoshop... ( since my photoshop class starts in april, i don't really have any Photoshop training or something..im just messing around with it.. so im not a "pro".. like some of you lol) I will show you some of my work.. + the zombie

You choke babies with plastic? O_o

Nice job with them. One thing you could fix, though, is that you can easily see the whole skull over her face. You could make it more subtle by erasing the side with s very soft brush.

hmmm. Take the Matrix background and have the falling symbols spell out your name by making the right ones transparent. That would be tight.

actually i can't control the background..i did with with some filters effect... maybe 4-5 filters , so i can't really spell out my name in there

The zombie stuff is cool. Good job.

The zombie stuff is actually really good--it looks on-par with something I could do before getting bored, so kudos. The baby looks filter-y. The matrix effect is a classic that everyone should know, so yeah.

Now, the light blue one looks extremely filter-whored. The two above the lightning look as the light blue one did... Not ugly, but simplistic. Try using them as textures or lighting in other pictures--that's usually the right application of those.

And the lightning, another classic that everyone should know. Make some brushes with some of those, and keep those with some other lightning brushes.

But in general, I like how you seem to be progressing. I'd advise that you only use filters mainly for blurs, and for effects on layers that are not the focus of the piece, since otherwise, it creates bad habits and uninventive designs.

yeah i admit some are kinda filter whored...but what else do you want me to do ? lol can you give me some good website with good tutorials?? the filter whored pictures are real tutorials..lol i need good websites..><

No, I know the jaw bone is supposed to be there. It's directly below her eye. I looks weird to let the eye socket of the skull stay there.
