Also, my banner wasn't even made by me, it was made by Tater_Tot. It's terrible I know, but it has meaning to me, cause it was made for me without my consent.

The only problem with that is fluctuating profile length. Every time you get new comments or add new friends, or new random thoughts, it changes the length of your profile. That makes it impossible to predict where the bottom of your profile will be. If it weren't for this issue, I would say add one at the bottom.

Also, if your profile gets too long and the background repeats, it won't be noticeable because the border would just flow into itself again.

I am a newb. That is why I take the criticism well and take it into account with my work.

Also, I am a newb whose work is better than that banner.

Also, it does make sense. I really wish you could control the bottom, but is just simply impossible.
That is why I overshoot how long of a background I need by 500 pixels. It leaves room for the fluctuation.

As for the other people's criticism. You can either ignore it, or use it. I suggest using it cause it's the people's opinion. If the people do not like your concept/design, it IS possible that there is something with it. But there was never a reason for you to go off at them like that.
Be humble and try to understand people's opinions (cause they might actually have a valid point), and take criticism like a man/woman.

Or in layman's terms: don't act like you know it all, and say thank you for people's opinions. No matter how good or bad the criticism was.
