so ive been trying to lower my average rank
right now im just looking at my level ranks and scrolling all the way to the bottom and playing my worst rank untill i get a better one. does that seem like the best way to lower my rank? or should i do the other thing i was thinking about and play all the songs i dont have a score on yet first? or maybe i should play all the easy songs and try to aaa them? |

in theory yes. but if you do bad on an easy song, replay that song until you get a decent rank (for you) this is what almost everyone does when they either first start, or haven't played in a while.

start from the bottom your AV rank will drop extremely fast then redo the songs you have not AAA'd yet

What is wrong with your Enter key? Can't you type a whole sentence without breaking it off?
Anyways, just play from the bottom up. That's how I did it. Last edited by foilman8805; 10-12-2008 at 02:58 PM.. |

Personally I think it doesn't matter. In the end of you want an average rank that is reflective of your skill then you will play all songs at least once, then you will go back and play those songs until you feel you have an adequate score (and thus rank) on them.
This may take time but in the end you'll have an average rank that may be close to what your actual skill level is. |

Does David Spade play FFR now? haha
Yeah, do what you'd like to do, not a shortcut because you aren't getting better that way.

The fastest way to improve your average rank is to improve your worst rank. Simple math

I think your overall rank increases faster by doing songs that less people have played tho
I don't know the math behind that one edit: unless it's just the sum of all your best scores

Overall is just the sum of the points for every game you have ever played, whether it be a boo out, or a AAA. They just get added and compiled.
