![]() I was yelled at for playing FFR in school once, not for the fact I was playing a game, for the fact I was playing FFR, my teacher claimed the game required no hand eye coordination like other computer games.

It's a fun thing to do, especially if it pisses off people on the internet that I'll never meet in real life. Pissing off random strangers gives me a strange sense of satisfaction.

And to the thread, I'm not sure... Then again, if we knew the exact answer, it would answer why playing ANY video game is entertaining.

Anyways, here's how I would respond to him. I'd invite him to watch me play a game of FFR, and then let him try if he was interested. Who knows? Maybe he would start playing. Last edited by Tater Tot; 10-6-2008 at 12:03 PM.. |

I've pretty much never seen a Pokemon game say that.

![]() Almost everyone I've ever told about my playing DDR/SM/FFR etc etc has been really impressed and wanted to know more. Kinda says something about what a boring place I live in I suppose.

![]() The only answer I can come up with -> People listen to music, because it brings enjoyment to them. There is no reason that it really does, but music can change your mood, and mindset. Playing FFR is like getting a more in depth listening experience. It fuses you and the flow of the music together. The power of music to change your mood, and fusing you with the music, brings you into a state of feeling exilerated, and happiness. At the same time it gives you something to work at and master, which is almost limitless, with songs that no one has AAAed before.
That is a bad answer but its the only thing I could come up with. |

That is funny. My computer teacher let the class have a free day just because he wanted to watch me play FFR.

![]() Lets see how far you get if you try to "mindlessly" play a music game.

He was a sub but yeah he did. It was pretty awesome. Better than learning stuff on Powerpoint that I already knew how to do.

![]() Who needs Powerpoint? I could mash DP for the next 20 years of my life before I learn powerpoint. xD
Powerpoint is awesome though. Bill Gates did something right. |

Don't ask me, it's the school's curriculum. They really don't teach us anything in computer class, it's totally pointless.

![]() I had to take computers as part of my curriculum too; they showed us Access, Excel, Word, Powerpoint and FrontPage--never a break either, because my teacher was never (NOT ONCE) absent. >.>
