Re: Who here plays WoW?
I use to play with a disc priest we we made it to i think 2028. Then I got a druid and it was so much easier. I've played my class since prebc and I have been speced marksman the entire time so it really comes in handy.

WoW is like an illegal substance. Just say no and walk away...

Re: Who here plays WoW?
I agree.
Then again if the game is that addictive, then obviously it's very fun/time consuming. |

Re: Who here plays WoW?
If people are already on this site and playing the game why are they looking for yet another addicting and time consuming game?

Re: Who here plays WoW?
There is nothing wrong with addicting games like WOW and FFR so long as you play in moderation. It can be hard because of the level of addictiveness, but most tend to take it in stride. Also, good luck in Phynx's tournament.

Re: Who here plays WoW?
Hey cool ran Heroic Bot. Boots on final boss didn't drop, but I got a free gem and Primal Nether. Nice.
Just finished a MgT run. Took waaaay too long, wiped too many times. 30g repair bills all around was great. The worst part? Our rogue. This mother****er has the worst possible trinkets for PvE (other than none) that I've ever seen on a rogue. He had 20 res Medallion of the Horde and RIDING CROP He said those were the ONLY trinkets he had. But then halfway through the instance, I realized he wasn't using poisons at all throughout the entire run. I asked him where they were, but he got all pissy and said I sucked dick because I wasn't fearing/banishing/enslaving enough. I'm so glad he didn't get anything. Priest and tank got loot from the first two bosses, sharded and passed the rest (shaman gear dropped twice). I used what, 19 soul shards? SOULWELL PLZ I GOTTA REPAIR RITUAL OF SUMMONING PLZ ENSLAVE PLZ SOULSTONE PLZ (dumb healer used SS after we died in two different boss fights, both were obvious wipes) I'll link you his armory profile. http://www.wowarmory.com/character-s...d&n=Krazychuck "I don't believe in poisons" Last edited by roundbox; 09-13-2008 at 02:10 AM.. |

Re: Who here plays WoW?
Lol that rogue as no hit rating rogues need at least above 300 or so. He must have just turned 70 and you should have never let him in to your mgt run in the first place.

Re: Who here plays WoW?
H MgT is rediculously easy given gear and the right build. Either 2 mages and rogue or a 2 mages and a lock with a pally/warrior tank and a druid healer makes it incredibly easy. You have 3 forms of cc (that can all work for the third boss mind you) to limit the load for the tank. And warriors and pallies can both do something to protect themself for the pyroblast Kael throws at them. Druid heals have insane HoTs so the 300 or whatever dps taken after 50% of Kael is irrelevant and mages can take the adds from the second boss and iceblock. If you had a mage the is specced 40/0/21 or 0/0/61 they can take 8 or the total ten so long as someone else takes 5&6 in the middle. The only thing that is really important to remember is that if a phoenix is summoned anywhere from around 60% of Kael's health or less, to STOP dps on Kael and finish the bird and the egg before returning to Kael. Having a bird out while in the air trying to dodge those orbs and having the DoTs on you is pretty much an insta-wipe.
If you're talking about reg MgT just make sure to have everyone in at least 70 blues and this same build should be able to run it; just might be a little tougher. |

Re: Who here plays WoW?
So my first ever Kara run was a full clear with no wipes except on Nightbane, which we 9-manned, and I got a T4 helmet out of the deal. That seems okay to me.

Re: Who here plays WoW?
My guild has been working on clearing Kara for a while now.. they can't get passed the last boss, whoever that is.
update: hit 59 and now questing in plaguelands. So I today while I was running Lower Blackrock Spire I heard the funniest reason from a tank explaining why he was standing there picking his nose. It's the classic scene; second tank and our hunter are both dead, shadow priest is attempting to dps while healing himself, and I'm down to like 25% mana trying to wand a 60 elite while keeping the remaining tank alive. Problem is, this mother****er is standing there like a ****ing retard taking hits from a 63 ellite boss and his adds. Needless to say, we all died because of him. "I was afk" Soon thereafter he said he had to go and ditched us. Group disbanded and I never finnished quests. Gotta love pugging. |

Re: Who here plays WoW?
I need halp
Well, moreso my guild. We currently suck at Kara and can't get a good strategy down for Moroes. We've done it before, so gear isn't an issue but right now it appears to be controlled by luck for his unwilling recipient of garrote or gouge. Our off-tank got gouged and healer got hit by garrote. Fun We have priest shackles and pally fear available. Anybody help? :< |
