FFR Replay Page
why is it that when i go to watch a replay of a song i just played the replay is different from what i just did?
for example, i just FC'd force of light with ~20 goods and 3 boos i think. i go to watch the replay and it shows me with a couple of averages and 6 boos. why is this? |

Re: FFR Replay Page
There used to be a glitch in the game called average-misses. Basically, when two arrows are close together, and you hit the first one too late, you'll run into the second arrow instead. The game will give you an average for the second arrow, a miss for the first one, and a boo (hence the name average-miss). This has been fixed in the game only; replays show what your game would be like if avmisses existed.

Re: FFR Replay Page
Replays still show avmisses, which means if two arrows are too close to each other in frames, they overlap, causing you to get an average on one and a miss on the other, and usually a boo for the one you missed (because you pressed the key, it just didn't register it as hitting the arrow.)

Re: FFR Replay Page
Replays still contain the avmiss bug. Hopefully, it'll be fixed soon, though it's been there for a while already.
EDIT: Both of you are homos. </3

Re: FFR Replay Page
I completely agree and according to one of the Admins it was fixed before AV miss fix even became public, but they just haven't released it yet.

not true at all lone... don't relay false information, please.
and... believe me. getting avmisses fixed in replays is my #1 priority. synth is quite sick of me telling him about it. since it's been about 6 months now... it's just not that easy of a fix, apparently.

Re: FFR Replay Page
Tass, what's up with Xelius? Couldn't he fix it, aside from Synth and other admins that work in the flash department?

Re: FFR Replay Page

Re: FFR Replay Page
Even then, its not always going to work. The arrows can still be too close, 3/2/1 framers will do this.

Re: FFR Replay Page
Why don't you guys find someone new that has the time to do it? It's been unfixed for far too long. =\ Xelius isn't the only person that can do it.
