Rock band is awesome! I played drums so much, I broke my pedal in half.

I also like to play vocals with my clarinet.

I can always hit the ending, always. Why can't I do the first verse? 1 strong. Expect an FC soon, once again overdue FC.

Also FC'ed some meh songs here and there, got 1 okay and 1 strong on Sabotage, I might get that soon. All exp vox.

Did you miss in the "Listen all of y'all, it's a sabotage?" Those are pretty much impossible without rubbing/talkie glitch.

That's exactly where I got my 'Okay'. The 'Strong' was before the break in the middle (Before the "Whyyyyyyy") on "I'm telling ya'll it's a Sabotage!"

Can you link me/explain the rubbing/talkie glitch? It's only the 1st "Listen all of y'all, it's a sabotage!" that I miss on. >.<

rubbing - Wear jeans, rub your mic on your jeans furiously like you're masturbating, pray you get an awesome. There are some uber-broken phrases in that song that are nearly impossible without extra help. I'd try to find some SH threads detailing the specifics but you can't view SH so...

talkie glitch - occasionally you get lucky and the game combos all the talkies for you... I was lucky and got that on my Sabotage sightread.

There's also a thread somewhere in the vox forum about all the stupid on-disc talkies but I couldn't find it. But yeah, there's a TON of great information about all of the roadblocks on that forum.

I pre-ordered 3 of them, 1 for my big bro (it's his birthday coming up), 1 for me (obviously), and 1 for my friend Dylan (just for being an awesome friend). I'm stoked about Rock Band 2, the setlist is amazing. I wasn't able to pre-order the packs, so I could only pre-order the game. Does anyone know if you can buy the Rock Band 2 items separately on the same day as release?

So on expert drums I get like 98% on Tom Sawyer, Enter Sandman, Working Man, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to do the fast triplets in Run to the hills on hard. Can I please get some tips on how to get this down?

Yes. Play "Hand That Feeds" on Expert. Same drum pattern, slightly faster in RttH.

EDIT: That's how I tend to pass RttH on Expert, by playing that pattern. It's easier to keep track of. Kills the score, though.

From what I understand, the game and standalone instruments will release for 360 on September 14th (is it the 14th?) and then the bundles will release at the same time (I think that's only PS3/360, Wii/PS2 is later. maybe)

Ohh, because a couple months ago when I pre-ordered, they said that I can't pre-order the bundles (EB Games). They said, "Only the games." We aren't even allowed to pre-order the standalone instruments, so I have to get there early morning to buy it..good thing it releases on a Sunday. =P

Thanks a lot for your response, Mal and Dore! I hope the new instruments ARE coming out when the game gets released because my GoodWoods set and my Destroyer Pedal are at my friends house and my friend doesn't plan to bring it back anytime soon. D=

Tired_Old_Man, I recommend starting expert if you are stuck on that song. RttH is ridiculously hard on Hard and, IMO, the hardest original setlist song in the game. (Expert RttH is MUCH easier). That's my opinion though. If you want to spend your time learning it, then I recommend what Mal said. Practice THTF, as it has the same patterns but slower. =)

I just smashed my Guitar..I was playing Score Duel on RttH and this guy was really good. We both had FC's up to the solo. We both got a miss in the solo, and started comboing the part past the solo. Then...MY GREEN BUTTON STOPPED WORKING!!!!! I missed the SP and all the other green notes/jumps. So. I got mad. I screamed "GODAMNITTTTTTT" into my mic, and when I say scream, I mean scream...then SMASH!! SMASH!! SMASH!!!!! 3 times. I didn't realize what I did until afterwards. I just bashed it on the ground 3 times.

Moral is, I take my gaming seriously. The guy on the other end was laughing his butt off though. At least he enjoyed it. DAMNIT!
