there are 600 public songs in FFR. and almost 150 token songs. in reality, there only needs to be so many "easy" or "medium" level difficulty songs. generally speaking, once someone masters a song, they never (or rarely) go back to it. as such, we add more harder songs than easier songs, because those are what's left after you master the rest of the stuff.

there are still plenty of easier songs in the game, and we continue to add easier songs... just not as many as harder songs.

in addition, the users who make the levels tend to be upper level players who don't like to play easy levels or make easy levels. as such, they make hard levels, so we have hard levels to add.

as you can see, there are multiple reasons for why we do what we do... and i hope you can understand and live with those reasons. if not, well, sucks for you.
