Dear Shox
I detest you. Not so much you as what you're displaying on the forum. Yes, we get it, you're a supporter of Obama. You're more than that. You have sexual fantasies about him. Regularly. Day dreams even. You have your reasons for him but many are, well...inconclusive. I'll give you a high five for trying. How about we settle for a fist bump?
And it isn't even really you. It's people like you. Obamaniacs. McCain-iniites (or whatever clever coined name they've got but don't flaunt). Even the Nader guys. You're all a product of a media-driven corporate sellout program. You all foam and spit and rave about your candidates, shouting their talking points at the top of your lungs, chanting their soundbytes and coughing up hard earned paychecks to watch them speak (so that you can be converted all over again) or buy their bumper stickers. It's people like this, like you, Shox, that worry me. It's people like you that make me think that America is, within two or three generations, going to be up a creek without the knowledge to even cup their hands into a paddle shape and dip them into the water to ,at the very least, steer the boat in such a way as to better see the sights while being carried to the rain slicked precipice. It's people like you, Shox, that make me so adamant we revamp our education system. It's people like you, Shox, who have provided enough of a mockery to our political system that even I, "The Libertarian" of the forums, would like to have your rights as voters stripped away because, let's face it, you're the Deltas of our Great Society. Were it not for my love of freedom, of absolute liberty, I'd want people like you forced back into schools where you're taught to actually think about the things you're saying, to check your facts and question the authority that gave them to you. I want you to see that just because he can make you tear up with his pretty speeches and fancy buzzwords doesn't mean that he's right (he's not) or that he's smart (he is) or that he ought to make a good president (jury's still out). And it's because you people value the words of another so greatly that I write this. I hope this hurts. I hope it stings beyond belief. I hope it make you all reconsider what you're doing to this country. Our intellectual forefathers would be ashamed. As for you McCain/Nader/Barr/Paul supporters (especially Paul), please reread this and imagine that I'm talking to you. Thank you for your time. I'll see you after my ban is up. Q |

The self-professed Libertarian is telling people not to support Paul or even Barr? But no specific mention of Clinton supporters? I see where your real allegiance lies.

Re: Dear Shox
What if I said that I support McCain because he holds more of the same viewpoints as I do?
What if I said that I'm not a blind follower? What if I agreed with everything that you said but that I was willing to follow your plan of a new education through? Would you love me then? |

Q, you can rant to Shox privately over AIM. And yes, I get that your rant was not just directed to Shox.
