Woo-hoo for Bose. Real speakers, screw this computer speaker crap. Also have Sony MDR-V700 headphones which are absolutely incredible.

o yeah!!! I beat you all!!! I have a set of isolation headphones (corded) with all of the covering worn off and the left ear not working! (I have speakers which go unused 95% of the time because my roommate doens't enjoy the music...) you should hear how different it is w/ only the right side of a stereo... also, I have this bunch of make-shift wires for my sound, which sporadically stop working, so sometimes mid-song I hafta kick them a bit to make the sound come back...

I play with my left ear uncovered by the headphones so I can hear my keyboard presses... if I don't have blind + hidden on, I can base timing solely off the arrows... but w/ the mods, I need to use my hearing to time it right most of the time...

anyways... back on topic... GJ on the improvement...

He doesn't enjoy the music... but puts up with the banging of the keyboard??...

And my speakers still own you all. Plus I'd rather have these headphones instead of your Sennheisers. They are much better (not the top of the line from them but the others are twice as much with not much of a difference). CNET loves them.

Ewwwwwww I can't stand headphones like that, feel too weird. And my Sennheiser aren't on default sound settings...I've fucked around with them a bit on my comp, and they sound really really good..much better than if you just plug them in and go.

Most of the time if I play a song once or twice I basically memorize it and can sing it in my head while I play. No sound needed.
