well not really my first, but first non-mash since i mashed the last part of 300. switched to spread about a month ago after burning my hand and couldn't play ffr one handed for a while, kinda sucked at the beginning, was an okay one hander, fc'ing quite a few challengings.
last time i played this got about 9 misses on it, and it's a long song so i wasn't expecting much... and i know it isn't the cleanest of scores... but HEY, STILL MY FIRST NON-MASH FC! (have a 1 or 2 miss on NWE though). along with those i had a few good fc's a few days back, sympathizer and final step, still, not the cleanest, but bleh. i have quite a few other VC fc's from this 1 month of spread, but i feel these are the most impressive ones. EDIT: ps. how do you post text between pics? EDIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! pulled off NWE!! Last edited by chopperdudes; 08-18-2008 at 12:53 AM.. |

Pretty impressive for a first FMO FC. Not the easiest of songs and it's pretty long too. Good job.

hmm yeah, i do have major problems with non-right hand trills. short trills are okay, long trills either i mess up synchro on 2 handed ones (the longer it gets the more it becomes jumps, PA goes down the drain) or just not enough speed for left hand trills. that's why i guess the boos and bad PA come from those, off sync'ed + panic fast trills. also left hand jacks are total handicaps for me, right hand jacks i'm fairly good at (50% of the time comboing the long jack on runny?) but left hand jacks are just rediculous for me... ![]() fast runningmen are killers, as are fast consecutive (4 or more) right~left rolls (i'm getting alot better at those but still not that comfy). guess it ain't shabby for a month's work xDD (although i do know how to read before switching to spread) |

If you burned your hand, why are you still playing FFR? Take some time to chill and let it get better before you go back to kicking ass (way to switch to spread, though).
Try LW4 next. If you can get through the 32nd burst early on, you're probably in good shape to FC the rest (it's less than 1100 notes). Hell, if I got 88-0-0-3 on a lucky run at school once with the sound off... |
