I'd like to know of some good mirror sites... Or other sites similar to FFR. I don't play SM and don't ever intend to, but I still love this game.
I give up here. Need a new fix, this place has run dry. Can anyone offer up some good alternatives? |

i don't feel any lag. And didn't feel any on 848k version. Perhaps there is something wrong with your computers, i don't think that it's server's fault

I know it's on my end. I knew that the moment it was happening =.=
I'm bitching because I could at least play semi fun songs on the 848k version. Now there's nothing to do on FFR except lurk the Forums, piss off the members, annoy the Mods, and disturb the Admins. Kind of it's own game in itself, but I like FFR better. |

Well i am lagging and i can say that is the game 100% and not my computer. You might not notice it if your intial scores were around 40 goods and misses. But when you go from AAA's to 20+ goods, there is an obvious difference.

Umm, yeah. Izzy, that means your computer can no longer handle the game without lag. And trust me, I noticed when I went from AAA'ing 6's to not even FC'ing 4's T_T

No that's not it at all. The problem is independent from my computer.

Okay... /rollseyes
Because your computer is just the absolute best, and there's nothing on the net it can't handle without lag. Sorry, I forgot you're better than the rest of us. I'll be sure to remember that before I try and correct you next time. EDIT: Also Quote:

I don't know what you are trying to prove by saying its a computer resource issue. Id rather get to the problem faster by knowing its not my computer.
My computer isn't the best but it is defiantly better then most, and it would cost a **** ton to put something together that is significantly better. |

Trust me, I know -___-
I'm saving up to build a $5000 computer. I'm on the net right now with a $20 POS. I'm gonna get Vista on my comp, but I'm hoping with 4GB of DDR3 RAM it won't lag at all. And it probably won't. Trust me, after I done dumping money into technology I'm going to have the sickest set up on all of FFR. I'm already playing on a 47" Sony Bravia with 1080i HD. It's gonna be orgasmic once the good computer is built and I hook up the HDMI cables. |

I bet you it will lag on ffr, because its the game and not the computer. Also vista will lag regardless of how good your comp is.
This comp has 4 gb of ram and quad core 2.5 ghz cpu with 8800gtx graphics card. The only problem is, it has vista. Still lags ffr. My other computer which is windows XP and has similar hardware never used to lag, and now it does. |

Vista only lags because the hardware to support the build isn't widely used yet. I'll bet you have DDR2 memory... And do you know what wattage your power source is? Sounds like your video card may be using quite a bit of power. Do you know how to overclock your processor to get the most out of it? Are you running the 32 or 64 bit Vista? All these things matter believe it or not. The processor not so much in this instance. But supply and demand of power in your computer is essential. I ALWAYS recommend a 1,200 watt power supply. Whatever anyone tells you is 'required' to run certain things is generally the bare minimum needed to make them go -__-
It's always better to have an excess. It prevents your system from fighting for power, and makes everything run smoothly. Essentially... I don't care what your computer has in it. I'm not even going to get really technical about it. But an old addage comes to mind. 'It's not the size of your [insert word here], it's how you use it.'. In this instance, we're going to use the word 'computer' as a general reference to everything in your box. If you don't know how everything works in there, you have no way to know how to use it. Learn your subject. EDIT: Every time I read this I rofl. May siggy for lulz.

Why? Because its true? If you can get vista to stop lagging with a 5,000 computer then i guess you will prove me wrong. I can only imagen how convenient it is to require such an expensive computer to run a simple flash game.

Yes, because that's all I ever do on a computer -____-'
I'm an avid gamer. I love CoD, Unreal, Battlefield, and about half the games on Steam. I'm fairly certain there won't be a noticeable amount of lag on my computer after I get the initial parts. I'm 98% certain there won't be lag ever after I'm done with it. I'm planning on putting at least $10,000 into it over the course of the next year. $5,000 hopefully within the next 3-4 months. I can't wait to put videos up of me playing FFR on a widescreen HD TV, with the graphics cards to support the HD output along with the HDMI cables XD. I'll be running on 3 video cards when that time comes. One each for R, G, and B. (Red, Green, and Blue) Meaning, I'll have one top of the line card to support just one color. Imagine the graphics I'll be able to support doing that. I'm gonna cream my pants with every head shot I get... |

Also when you put that quote in your sig make sure to add "ffr"
Vista doesn't lag for anything else. |
