JX:
Hardcore Bass (cyrx900) [+? / 6]
sync on m31, 32nds on m39/71 aren't needed
not bad overall, but silent(or step voices)/repetitive parts should be cut.

Wow. I actually did pretty good this time (only on one file, lol). Problem is, blu said it should be cut and it is overdoubled but jx didn't say anything about it.

I might send an improved version later on today. I need to reinstall Stepmania X(

kjw: we use a -, ?, +?, + system for judging... blame shash for that. then, jx goes a step beyond and gives it a grade out of 10. yours got a 2. don't feel too bad... files that get accepted are usually around a 7. i've never seen him give a file a grade above an 8.5.

gnr: don't send it if we don't have permission

knoobish: no idea... but look into it.

cyrx: they won't always have the same remarks, but you should look into the comments that both provide.

Hmm...I doubt I'll be sending in all of my files again for the next batch. A lot of blu's notes didn't really add up to me or weren't specific enough. It's gonna take a bit for me to understand what he wants in each file, haha. I'll just stick to working on Wish and go from there.

Queued
Fei Longer - hi19

Tested by Tass, Not Queue'd
Big Blue v2 - fix PR. It is pretty boring in the 1st half vs v1.
The Crow's Eyes - this never ended... please cut. look into the other comments as well.

Big Blue v2 (hi19hi19) [? / 5]
File's pretty boring without layering IMO, can disregard my opinion for this file though.
24th on m19?, PR is ok but not great.

Chocolate Rain (DJS Remix) (hi19hi19) [- / 0]
offsync as hell, and 64ths are just retarded. quit out.

Endless Maze (hi19hi19) [? / 4.5]
lack of consistency at the beginning (randomly switching the instrument), and difficulty
overall. 32nds should be 24ths. jacks are interesting though.

Fei Longer (hi19hi19) [+. / 6.5] (9)
gap early/minor bpm errors, but the way of stepping is kinda amusing.

Gradeus v2 (hi19hi19) [+? / 6]
bad sound quality, get better mp3.
180bpm jumpstreams for 2min, that's all. some people would enjoy this for scoring probrally.

The Crow's Eyes (hi19hi19) [+. / 6.5]
missing notes on m27, felt layering for drums is inconsistent. felt a bit long.
semi-accepting it.

Big Blue v2 (hi19hi19) [+] - missed a 32nd in m15, PR could be a little better

Chocolate Rain (DJS Mix) (hi19hi19) [-] - beginning is lol... overstepped, overlayered to compensate for lol beginning

Endless Maze (hi19hi19) [?] - i don't hear the 32nds in m9-10, misrhythms m11, jacks and 32n trills make difficulty way uneven

Fei Longer (hi19hi19) [+?] - fun, some PR issues in jumpjacks like in m5, missed rhythms in intro (on purpose?), missed rhythms in m9-13

Gradeus v2 (hi19hi19) [-] - lol just a tad overstepped

The Crow's Eyes (hi19hi19) [+?] - m10 m14 m30 etc missed or misplaced 48th rhythms, m45 and m107 no yellow note, missed 48th last measure
posting for my own reference, ignore me ^____^

EDIT-

Gradeus v2: awww, cmon guys, jumpstream is FUN. Say it with me... F-U-N, fun.
Probably nothing i can do to this to make you accept it, so trashing that.

The Crow's Eyes: this song is so hard to cut and make it sound decent ;_;
Will look into the missed rhythms and wrong notes, but i might need help cutting it!

Fei Longer: will look into missed rhythms. definitely resending a new dwi, there's some things I'd like to fix

endless maze: poop on a stick this file is going to be hard to change

chocolate rain: yeah fine I'll redo it

big blue v2: looking into missed/incorrect rhythms. Tass, the point is that it's boring compared to v1... because v1 is an overstepped dump pile, so overstepped + boring = just about right as a tricky-difficult song

Who votes that previous posts in the batch thread should be reduced/deleted? Scrolling is a bitch.

Falsie the Pseudo-Science Girl (behanjc) [+] - fun and simple

It's actually quite complicated at some parts, especially with the choice of jumps in the vocals, following pitch relevancy the to vocals on one side and following other stuff on the other side.

lightfoot - autorejected for hands in non-FMO

just a few minor tweeks in my stepfile and I'll be sending it it momentarily. I'm pretty sure it will make it in this time. I'm not sure about the syncing part, so I think I should cut that part out.

EDIT: Sent. Pretty good file.
