i honestly dont understand how they do it, its crazy. ive tried a few hundered games of one handed and i cant do stream, ive come to think that one handed is more of a natural talent to some people, i dont understand how they have the stamina and the coordination to move their hand like that. its not like spread or index where you can improve, i think you kind of just have to be good at it from the beggining. i just wanted to say kudos to all of you one handers.

i don't think its a big deal tbh. :/
i don't see a one handers skill any different from a spread players skill.

Except that a one hander is a handicap and takes longer to improve.
Which is why it's a lot more impressive when they are good. But yes, congrats one handers for sticking with it! |

Heh. I've recently discovered a way to improve stamina conservation.

Thanks.
![]() It just seems the most "natural" I guess? To be fair though, I'm terrible left-handed. I'm only decent right-handed. Yes I've tried both and a variety of other styles as well. But the one I use 99% of the time and the only one I'm any good at is one-handed with my right hand. |

I hate one-handers showing off. If you're a good one-hander, then that's good for you, but that doesn't mean you can put people down.

I understand its harder, but i still don't care.
I only care about how well you do, regardless of how you do it. i reallu don't know how to explain this well, but in the end, i just don't see the big deal. That's all.

What I meant was that when one-handers go like "Oh, I'm one-handed, and look, I got this and this and this... what about you?" or "That's because you use two hands." or something of that sort.
EDIT: Do I need a comma before or? I don't know... |

I'm just sayin'...how many people do you see in the Tiers and on the Top 100 AAA list that are one handed? At most, a small handful - probably no more than a dozen.
I'm not saying they aren't talented, don't get me wrong, but spread players do have a higher potential and a higher skill level. I've been around here long enough to appreciate good one handed scores. I know what is good and bad for those players, and from my honest observations, their skill levels are not as high as mine and I'm not even in a Tier. EDIT: As a note, let it be known that I do not think that playing one handed is a disadvantage in any way. It's a personal choice that should not make getting a full combo on a song better than a spread players AAA on the same song. Last edited by foilman8805; 07-27-2008 at 08:14 PM.. |

lol yea even near my worst i could still beat most one handers and they dont have good PA on streams and get more boos then any other style i think in order of skill its(lowest to highest)one hand, index 3 fingers, spread. idk any other styles so yea. there are some beastly one handers tho

I started off as one handed, and if I switched, I could probably become better. But I'm too lazy/impatient to switch now. In other words, I have become content with my mediocrity.
