it will be very close. i'm goin with the cardinals. they have the best team, all around. most wins. sox have the curse... the line-ups match up well, the cardinals bullpen has been excellent... the sox will have lots of issues without the DH... it will be a very good series.

I'm not doubting the Sox-just stating a fact.
but Sox have no D; they've just been lucky.
Pedro's good, but he could be better. Schilling has been good, but will he pitch another game with the tendon?
D-Lowe has been iffy the entire season save the playoffs, and I just don't trust Arroyo or Wakefield.
Having said that, I don't think Cards have any good pitchers (Suppan won 16 games, but that's it).
