Right i see where you are coming from, it was a stupid mistake but now the yankees are going to far, their payroll is incredible now. There gonna get randy johnson pedro (possibly) beltrans already talking with them. Its just stupid and they need to put a salary cap on

Yankees won't go for Pedro, New York in general hates him too much.

The Curse of the Bambino will hold true.
The Red Soxs fate will end like this: Game 7, bottom of the 14th inning, past ball, run scores.

see, the thing with a salary cap... it just won't work like it does in football. because of the profit sharing and the amazing tv deal that the NFL has, its very very easy for the NFL to have a cap. the teams very little of the teams salary themselves, as each team's portion of the tv rights is almost equal to the salary cap.... whereas its much less in baseball, and you have teams like Tampa Bay or (now defunct) Montreal who spend 25 million a year. the salary cap only works if every team is paying out the cap amount (like the NFL).
baseball DOES have a luxury tax above a certain payroll amount. not sure about this year, but last year the Yankees were the only team that had to pay the tax.

When the Red Sox are in an N.L ball park, there is no D.H. Which means Ortiz has to play a position. who are you going to make sit out for his slow ass Oh and tell whoever is pitching for the Sox that they have to bat in this game.

They'll either make Nixon or Millar sit and have the other play right.

It would be cool to see the Red Sox overcome the curse and win the World Series, instead of the faggish yankees. The Braves should have made it to the World Series with the Red Sox. It would have been an honorable game because each team would have deserved to win. Anyone agree with me?

NOPE.
One of my FAVORITE things to ever watch is the Yankees beat the Braves in the World Series. I can't get enough of it. Also, why doesn't St. Louis deserve to win? Or why didn't the Astros deserve it? --Guido http://andy.mikee385.com |

the Braves are the single biggest choke in sports history, imo. 13 straight division titles, dating back to 1991. they've made 4 WS in those 13 years, and won ONE title. 1995. they extended their record for most consecutive division titles w/o a title at 9. no other team in the 4 major sports has ever gone more than 7. moreso than Tarkington and the Vikings of the mid 70s going 0-4 in Super Bowls, or Jim Kelly and the early 90s Bills losing 4 SBs in a row.
although, it does continue to show how weak the NL East really is.
