Default Hey, I'm new around here...

Few random scores... These are all a couple weeks old SS's... just finally decided to post them...

Snow 1.1 - randomly decided to try increased speed on Snow since I figured "hey, it's only 180 bpm 16ths... shudn't be TOO bad..." and I FC'ed first try XD

Grunge-des - two scores, one for combo breaker count, and the other for score... Threw this one in for EP... I get to many greats from the moonchild-ish parts to get a high score, but at least I can AA...

Brace Yourself - probably looking like a weak score to many other ppl... but for me, I had never FC'ed it till this run, so it's a good score by my standards... my MA/PA sux, I know...

Black Note Etude - Randomly thrown in cuz I was organizing my SS's and realized I got a 98 mill on this song... PA a little bit lacking, but w/e... good for me...

good scores generally... but that MA could use some work for your skill level. (Although my MA was horrible when my skill was high :P). Haven't played black note etude. Brace yourself is pretty good... Work on the PA/MA. Good job on sdg fc Snow 1.1 although it isn't much harder than 1.0 so you should work on that a bit... It's probably AAAable up to a pretty high speed. Grunge-des is good but I don't see why it gives you guys so much trouble. You should work on the PA and try to FC. I challenge you to get 15 or less greats and close to FC XD.

Good job overall though.

heh... linus, if you were referring to the beginning part... I skrew that up 1/3 of the time... if it's the thing in the middle with the reeaaaly slow thing then sudden boost, I get that by memorizing where the next arrow is in relation to the arrow marker thing (slightly overlapping), then press when the arrow hits there and I get a perf/marv every time... Black Note Etude is far easier than Grunge-des because 1. it has no jacks, so I don't get misses and such as easily... and 2. it's slower aps-wise I think... didn't do the math, but I'm pretty sure BNE has a much slower speed; the faster grunge-des parts gives me bad PA...

Nima - I'll work on it... I'm sure EP will be too lol...

BNE = 180 bpm 16ths with every third note a double (at max, although often less) = 16 APS
Grunge-des = 175 bpm 16ths with every second note a double = 17.5 APS

for comparison, the 16ths of Reality (259 bpm 16ths) come out to 17.26667 APS (although obviously Reality's patterns are harder)

Good job on the others.

The Brace Yourself SS is the oldest oen here, maybe 3 weeks old... butI don't think I can beat that score by much if I tried now... I get way too many greats from the combination of the beginning "easy part", the 32nd (stfu bandit), and the few really short jacks (and of course add on the usual sdg I might have gotten w/o those parts)... heck, I couldn't even hit the double jack between the sections of 32nd's until a month ago...

Snow is easy, I dunno why you think it's so hard reach XD... only 2 spots where you gotta press faster than 180 bpm 8ths on any given finger, and both of them are with your right hand... I <3 streams with doubles... And plus, I've played Snow way more tiems than Brace Yourself...

XD

I hate the slow beginning part of Brace Yourself. Otherwise, I'd play it more than once a month.

lol bandit... I hate the beginning too... but the rest of it is fun so...

anyways, here's another Grunge-des SS... my best score and PA yet, but HORRIBLE miss count from the slow jacks... damnit, my record score is no longer a AA... @$*($*#@

Brace yourself requires more speed to play then snow... snow is relatively slow with fucked up patterns so its easy to PA... If you can do single double crap
Thats why you can get more greats on Brace, its hard to PA the 32nds sometimes =\
