RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Firefox
All other browsers suck. The one I created in secret owns all others. AND IT SHALL TAKE OVER THE EAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRTTTTTTTHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!
But seriously. Aren't most virii(I think that is correct spelling)made to trigger in IE therefore makig Firefox better. Even if IE was better than FF in browsing capability I would probably choose FF to keep my computer from getting fucked up.(which just recently happened and I had to get a new hard drive and everything on my computer was erased and I was using IE and I'll bet that was why and Firfox is better and I'm done talking now)

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Firefox
I think the main message here.. is that no one should be using Internet Explorer.
There are OBVIOUSLY better choices out there than IE. The basic thing we have to do is MOVE EVERYONE AWAY FROM IE. Get that piece of shit browser out of people's houses. DO IT. This is why LD keeps making topics and advertises.. it's so much better than IE and people need to realize it. Stop bitching about which non IE browser is better because you can't win. The differences are MINOR between what other browsers have been said. PEOPLE, READ MY POST. |

I don't like Firefox .10PR... I'm quite happy with 0.9.3, but I can't find an installer for it, for the laptop, which now has stupid .10PR :\

Opera > Firefox for a few reasons
Hell, I switched from Phoenix (what firefox was back then) just for the freaking status bar. It is the single, unrivaled reason why Opera is a better browser. |

Yes, because trading 20 pixels of screen space for ads and getting a damn good browser is a blood pact with the devil these days.

Opera is free it just asks if you want to buy it for a version without advertisements I'm guessing, anways I have Opera, IE, Mozilla, I use mozilla more than the others Opera second most and virtually never use IE. Microsoft destroys your computer.

If your computer is so slow that you need to use a progress bar to see how long until a page is done, you need a new computer.
I use Firefox simply because it's an alternative to IE. Period. I don't give a shit why people think other browsers are better, because Firefox works fine for me. Non-FFR simfiles don't work for me, no matter what browser I use, but Flash runs 10x better in Firefox than it does in IE for me.

Ok so I downloaded opera to test its flash capabilites out: (R2 Dizzy arrows same song as the first IE and Firefox test)
Opera [30-33fps] Wow that is much slower then Firefox or IE... So completely worthless... Tested with P4 3.0 ghz HT 800mhz FSB, 512 ram, and no other programs running at the time -----Soccr743----- |

Re: RE: Firefox
I have nothing against IE. I used it exclusively until I started messing around with CSS. I tried K-Meleon out, and was impressed. I learned about Firebird, and threw IE away. I'd also imagine that Macromedia (read: satan) would want their IE Flash (read: spawn of satan) plugin to be as fast as possible, considering that most people (read: bastard sheep) use IE.

RE: Re: RE: Firefox
soccr, I'm sure that won't be the case when you release it. I got the regular FFR faster in Opera than I did in IE.
Spazz - That progress bar owns. I have a 4mb line, so loading time is essentially 0, but there are times you can see it's trying to grab an image from a server that will not load and fix it. This was the case with an FFR user's signature. It was trying to load from a server that had no bandwidth and would never go. So anyway... --TIME TO AGREE WITH KENZYA-- Why did everybody ignore Kenzya... His post was simple and to the necessary point: Quote:
With windows, you can't uninstall IE. But you can block access to it! In "Program Access and Defaults", there is an option for "Browser". In IE, uncheck "Enable access to this program" and you'll never see it again. ~Squeek |

I've learned today that I have issues with pronouns. Yay juniors honor classes. So I now hate that paragraph.
Seriously though, anybody who makes a point in FFR is either mocked or ignored. I've even done that before, so I'm being a little hypocrtical. Yeah.. |

Yea, I will admit, we need to get people away from IE period. Opera is ok I guess, but FF stole my heart

1. Last time I checked, a laptop was still a computer.
2. If you use IE, you really need to have Spybot on your computer. 3. If you ran Spybot on your laptop, there is a good chance you =/= <3 IE |

No...I meant by laptop-that I have it on my home computer but just got my laptop and don't have it on here and really don't care if I have it on here or not. No I will always <3 IE. And I don't want Spybot on here just because I have IE =/
