Yep, have fun moving up

On a side note, STORY TIME!

.......................................................

I was doing matchmaking on allisbrawl today. I quickly got setup with a Kirby/Ness mainer I had played a few days ago.

We played a number of matches, I had won several in a row, and the only one I had lost at that point was Pokemon Trainer(Me) vs Ness(Opponent).

I decided to try again and I killed him first, with my Chari at 173%. He respawned and I dodged around while he was invulnerable, then I powershielded his fair and grabbed out of shield. I hit him a few times, and then remembered something. Charizard has a chain grab-release infinite on Ness. I then proceeded to perform the chain, thinking this way I could have a stock advantage, and since my squirtle was bad against ness I would stand a better chance. I hit him a few times, messed up, he broke it, didnt move away fast enough, and I started it up again.

At 43% he promptly quit, and flamed me in the chatroom via tells. I apologized, saying I wasn't trying to make him mad, I was just using the AT because I had heard of it, and he just continued to rant about how it ruined the fun of playing Ness for him and blah, blah, blah.

Morale of the story is: Expect competitive play in a competitive environment, and don't moan about it, your opponents aren't trying to personally ruin your fun, they are just being competitive.
