Any OS that does more will obviously lower your frame rate...I just hate it when people keep the insane amount of security turned on...it's almost as bad a Norton.

Vista prevents me from getting vROFL. It also prevents me from AAAing anything. I have XP every other week and I get like 6 new AAA's every time I'm on XP (kinda hitting my stride) but I average a grand total of 0 AAA's on vista per week... I'll try to put this in the nicest way and fanciest way possible:

Vista freaking sucks!

Use the Firefox 3 Release Candidate 2 browser. It's better than IE for flash now.

This is true, though I don't use it since it's still BETA and not compatible with good themes, extensions etc...

Though once it's completed it's going to kick ass.

after i got the sp1 for vista games and ffr run perfectly i'v even goten better at ffr
plus i have Firefox3 Beta5 C2

Well, it's at the release candidate stages so it's basically a final release, but they're just making sure everything's perfect by letting people test it before its final release.

Edit: Nearly 1 million people pledged already to download Firefox 3 when it's officially released. I thought I'd share that here just for everyone's information. They're going to set a world record for the most downloaded software in a day just because they feel like setting one. There currently is no record for this already.

What about opera vs. firefox? jw cause i have them both and switch between them every now and then. after you download the flashplayer plugin for opera it actually works good. i like it better than firefox but thats jsut me. IE to me flat out sucks.

I used Opera but in my experiences I think Firefox is better but that's just a preference. I installed it on my grandpa's computer for the speed dial as he's retarded with computers quite obviously. And I don't think anybody in the right mind would say IE > Firefox/Opera except for the people who can't get flash beta.

xD i know what you mean about your grandpa. mine is the same way. my grandma cant even check her e-mail AND WE GAVE HER A SHORTCUT TO IT ON THE DESKTOP X.X but anyways i guess i will try firefox again maybe it was just a laggy connection that day or somthin
