i really like my answer to mental #5. still working on #3... as i hate those types of logic problems. solved the other 4.

here is my FFR stuff:

Since the bottom 2 involve STRATEGY... I don't want to give away how I did them. If rubix wants a non-blocked image of #4, I'll send it to him directly... or I'll just tell him exactly what I did... whatever. Either way, not posting my strategies publicly. Figure them out yourself.

Tactical Assassin 2 is so buggy.... I shoot right at the guys, and they don't die. I complete missions without failing, and it says I failed twice and docks me points. *sigh*.

This is why I linked the NG version -- I didn't get such bugs on that version. Kong was buggier for me

I finished all the missions perfectly too, but apparently I failed 7 times.

OK... I tried NG, and I guess it worked better.... but, I still don't get it. I did everything perfectly, didn't fail a mission... yet I still lost 500 on Missions 8 for failures and got deducted at the final screen for failures. I didn't fail.

AND... I checked out a vid on youtube for a hi-score walkthrough... I followed it exactly... even did better than the guy in the vid did... yet my score is over 7000 lower than his? My score should be at least 700 higher, from the glitched fails.

I saw on the high scores many scores over 105,000... i looked on youtube to see if there was a vid on how to do it. there was. but i still don't get what i'm doing differently than the guy in the vid. if anything, i'm going faster. i waste 0 bullets, buy nothing else, etc etc. it makes no sense to me.

edit: a suggestion.... make Tactical Assassin scoring based off your highscore bonus... that's straight speed, so glitches shouldn't matter, and weird scoring shouldn't play a factor either.

Ok, I watched the walkthrough, and I beat him on every mission. Where does he get the extra money? That's the only thing that he beats me in.

Edit: I agree on just going by the highscore bonus. Too many glitches... >_<

2 things Commander...

1. if you watch the walkthrough, he magically gains about 9000 cash between the end of mission 8 and the start of mission 9.

2. you HAVE to show the entire screen... i could easily start on mission 9 using the level select and get a time of 4500+... but at the bottom of the screen, it says in big red letters that you "cheated", even though the level select is built into the game.... so, yea. you seriously can't just show the HS.

there is no way in hell you got 4213 as a final run... i mean, it's rough getting over 4400 just from mission 1. then 2-5 can all be done quickly... but 6 requires at least a little bit of time. as does 7. and so does 9.

even if you upgraded your weapon (which clearly i didn't in this run, because you can see my max cash value), 4213 isn't possible. no way you're saving 200+ just on reload time. the only levels where reload even plays a factor are 1 (where you can't have a better gun anyway), 6, and 9.

ps - i assume commander used the same glitch that i did.... which is how both his score and my score are 1200 higher than the run i posted above.

Actually since he did not say he was judging by the HS bonus, you waste 3 bullets. The mission ends when you run out of bullets. How did you not think of this?

You told me how to get the extra 9,000.
