OP is fully updated, I'm gonna tweak the Player List thing a bit more. Abbie I love the tiny mushroom item pic. You can prob make more just as easily for more items (don't worry about it until I introduce a new item), so yay to my little graphics wiz.

No, just kidding. I know what is needed of me, and I'm just frankly unwilling to do what is necessary. I guess I could start playing 100% aerial matches when I get bored though... that'd help me a ton, I'm sure, even if it would still leave me short of being able to win against your G&W. I think primarily I need to get better at neutral aerials, and develop an ability to actually focus on what to do, rather than playing it by ear. In fact, when I rattle off combos in the forum, I have to manually think of what I do and translate that in my mind; yet when I'm playing, it just flows. I've also been developing some thing against the sandbag that I have yet to fully implement into my gameplay. I got tons of wacky things with down and up aerials, but I hardly ever use them in game since my aerials always end up being fallbacks for me to cover when I can't get a smash off or am recovering or am trying to catch my opponent off guard.

oh and i totally forgot. I have some easily identifiable trouble with manti due to my shielding skills not being up to snuff. Any quick fix on that front?

well korny here is what i would like to do. scince you are offering to help the members of the ladder, would you mind terribly if we played a few matches tomorrow with me using Lucas and you can perhaps tell me what i'm doing wrong or right? i'm prolly also gonna ask Manti the same thing except with Samus.

P.S. when i say tomorrow, i guess i technically mean later on today

I don't know if i'll be able to have access to a wii and more importantly wifi but we'll see what happens.

And I can't teach you how to beat my G&W. However by using extremely good character placement and good shielding, you can make it difficult for me to execute my full out strategy if you know what moves to use following the ones i just mentioned.

Your strategy focuses mainly on short hop back aerial with occasional forward and down aerial, and down tilts/smashes and dashes peppered in when necessary. Oh and of course, that nasty bucket, but then again, I suppose you wouldn't get a chance to use that against the majority of characters. Honestly, you should use some of the other attacks more. His neutral B can be used in a way sort of similar to how I use Pikachu's neutral B, even if it's not quite as versatile. And his up smash/tilt are pretty good too, but I don't think you ever really use those. And another thing, you never take a chance with his forward B. With decent care, the spam neutral ground attack can be effective at tacking on percents too (or at the very least, can be used from time to time to throw off your opponent). You could even take some chances on his forward B... yeah, I know it sucks most of the time, but IT COULD GET LEVEL NINE!!!

There's a lot more to my strategy then that to my game. You just haven't seen any of it because you don't force me to play on that level.

Argue about how good they really are as much as you want, these people win 50-300 person entry tournaments and have all made thousands of dollars playing Brawl so they must have something you can learn from.

There are more if you want me to give you more, these are the ones I know of and watch videos from.

The best Link main is probably Deva, Chip's partner.
Unfortunately Link is currently a low/bottom tier character because with him being very underplayed and unpopular he isn't getting many high placings in the major +50 entry tournaments, and most of those come from Deva. Regardless I added him to the list.
